Flabby arms

Hello friends! I hope you all have had a wonderful day. The weather here is BEAUTIFUL and unseasonably warm. =) I was happy to take the opportunity to go for a walk with my cousin in the local park. We will both be in a wedding in August. As we were walking, we began talking about our fat, flabby arms and how bad they are going to look in our strapless bridesmaid dresses. We must have looked like total dorks, but we decided to do something about our flabby arms. There we were, walking on the path at the park, doing little circles with our arms, bicep curls, triceps presses, etc. all without weights. We got a few odd looks, but I am determined to have sexy, toned arms by the wedding on August 25th. lol.

I weighed in this morning at 203.8. I know slow and steady wins the race, but I am SO eager to be 199 pounds! Maybe next Monday.

Pilates

Oh.dear.goodness. I have been trying to incorporate Pilates into my routine as part of my new years resolution. HOLY COW!!!! I used to do Pilates quite often. I haven’t done much in the past year, year and a half or so and, BOY CAN I TELL!!!!!!!! I am SO WEAK! I am sure you all have had one of those, “oh crap” moments when the reality of your situation hits you square in the face. Well, Pilates has hit me in the face alright. No, I take that back, it has given me a swift kick in the stomach. (My abs are complaining even as I sit here on my butt not using them for much of anything). I am looking forward to regaining more core strength and toning up, but man-o-pete is it HARD! I am, however, determined to exercise more this year. End of story. Wish me luck!
